Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin AND Bullet For My Valentine LIVE at The Green Bay Resch Center- Photo Review- 1/24/18

Green Bay, Wisconsin is a special town for some special concerts. The Resch Center is one of the most popular arenas around. The Stage World tour brought an incredible nearly sold out show to this beautiful arena. From Bullet For My Valentine, to Breaking Benjamin to the magnificent Avenged Sevenfold. Each band brought something extraordinary to the stage.

Opening up this night of Rock n’ Roll was Bullet For My Valentine. A four piece band hailing all the way from Bridgend, Wales. Fans were ecstatically waiting at the tips of their toes for this great band to come on. Then finally, Bullet For My Valentine opened up their 8 song set with a fan favorite “Your Betrayal” off their 2010 album “Fever” and fans were not disappointed. There was a lot of crowd interaction from the fans of this incredible band. It sounded like the whole arena was belting out the words to many of their songs like “Tears Don’t Fall” off their 2005 album “The Poison” and “Waking The Demon” off their 2008 album “Scream Aim Fire”. Fans were not ready for their set to end, but they closed out their spectacular set with their song “Don’t Need You”.

Next to pummel the stage was Breaking Benjamin, a 5 piece band from Pennsylvania. They definitely came on with a bang, opening up their 12 song set with their song “So Cold” off their 2004 album “We Are Not Alone”. Benjamin Burnley related with the crowd and sucked them into his amazing drum solo to Star Wars “The Imperial March” with his drum set lit up with light sabers out on the catwalk. The energy was through the roof and it was one of the most mesmerizing things ever. The whole band also jammed to “Walk” by Pantera and “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana. Fans were singing to Breaking Benjamin songs like “Never Again”, “Failure” and “Angels Fall” off their 2015 album “Dark Before Dawn”. This has already been one of the greatest Breaking Benjamin sets that I’ve personally ever seen, but to blow everyone away even more, they ended with one of their most popular songs “The Diary of Jane” off their 2006 album “Phobia”. As if this set couldn’t get any better, they brought fans up on stage with them for their last song.

Now for the band we’ve all been waiting for, Avenged Sevenfold! This 5 piece band from Huntington Beach, California has everyone screaming at the top of their lungs as soon as their big screens came on. Then the death bat appeared and the screams grew even louder. As soon as every member took the stage, the screams were roaring.

Avenged Sevenfold took the stage opening an almighty total of 18 songs on their set with their first song “The Stage” the title track off their 2016 album. Fans also sang along to songs like “Hail to the King” the title track off their 2013 album, “Buried Alive” and “Nightmare” off their 2010 album “Nightmare”, and they even performed their cover of the Pink Floyd song “Wish You Were Here”. Synyster Gates, a long time member of Avenged Sevenfold had his time to shine with his flawless guitar solo that captured the attention of the entire arena. All eyes were on Syn! Avenged Sevenfold then went on to play some fan favorite songs like “So Far Away” also off their album “Nightmare”, and “Bat Country” off their 2005 album “City of Evil”. Now sadly, all good things must come to an end. No one was ready for this mind blowing set to be over. All of the stage effects including the big screens had everyone amazed, Avenged Sevenfold could have played all night and everyone would have been content. But Avenged Sevenfold came out to end their entire set with an encore of three songs “Welcome To The Family”, “A Little Piece of Heaven” and “Unholy Confessions”.

The Stage world wide tour has been selling out many arena shows. This is definitely a tour package you can’t miss! Do yourself a favor and catch a remaining date near you!
